OOC Guidelines

Hi! I'm Denerius or Den for short, and I go by that name both in and out of character. I tend to differentiate when I'm in character by using Quotation marks "like this", unless we're using tells but do let me know if we're doing that cuz I tend to assume all tells are OOC (Out of Character). My pronouns are He/Him but I'm cool with They/Them too :).I don't have any particular timezone I do prefer leaving RP sessions to the weekend but I'm down to short sessions whenever I'm online. Den when managing his venue or visiting other venues for RP, is characterize as a single, straight, male lalafell, always looking to make friends, acquaintances or just simply to relax and maybe have a meal at the venue.I Will not engage in/with
Combat oriented RP: I gave combat RP a shot one time and I didn't liked it, as such I keep the combat side of things mainly on Gameplay or more Open world combat RP (treasure maps, hunting, etc).
Den is mostly a pacifist when it comes to interacting with other people, only attacking when given a good reason.ERP: both me and my character are 18+. However I don't feel comfortable doing this kind of RP. as such I tend to avoid it. I am not stranger to shit talking and/or flirting though, but I would keep it just as that. nothing more.

(these are in Semi Chronological order)Home made skills - Thanks to both mom and dad, Den manage to learned the Basics of Mining, Weaving, Cooking and Blacksmithing.Eyepatched - He went to learn Blacksmithing on Limsa. One day during a test. Den was very tired while hammering some iron and hit the right side of his head with enough force to blind his right eye. That's why he has an Eyepatch.Culinarian in Training - after smelling something good near the Drowning Wench, he decided to check where that was coming from. He landed in the Culinarian's Guild doorstep. Remembering his mom's teachings he decided to enlist.Ironworks Hire - Den found an abandoned Garlean Machine and a few Ironworks employees took both Den and the machine to one of Ironworks' bases to take it apart.Machinist and Blacksmithing - After getting hired by Ironworks, they tasked Den to also learn about Machinists so he can defend himself and also combine his Blacksmithing skills with it to make powerful machines, useful tools and other things.Sultana's Chef - Den landed a Job as one of the Sultana's Personal chefs thanks to a "challenge" Lord Lolorito imposed over the Culinarian's Guild on Limsa.The Azul Menace - One day on a stroll around Ul'dah, he encountered Martyn, and witness one of his performances. Intrigued by it, he decide to approach him and enlist as a Blue Mage. Landing a Job in the Masked Carnival in the process as The Azul Menace.The Traveling chef - Den traveled the star on various occasions. Some due to work related travels, others for pleasure. In those travels, he gain a great deal of knowledge about food from the different cultures around the star. In some places he learned more than others.Woltek - While taking on a hunting mission to train his aim. Den ended up rescuing a small Bear cub from a dragon's nest in the Dravanian Forelands. After taking down the Dragon, Den took the bear cub to a nearby camp to keep it safe, but the bear kept following Den outside of the camp. and so since then Den took the little bear cub as his companion and named him Woltek.

Lore Section

Family and Origin
Denerius grew up in Camp Drybone along side his parents, Markmarkius Ororius and Nylinlin Nylin.
His father, Markmarkius, is the proud owner of a mining company, Den has worked under his father as a miner since he was a teen.
Den's father also took a liking to Blacksmithing and such he taught Den what he has learned. He even insisted to Den to enlist in the Blacksmiths' Guild later on in life.
His mother, Nylinlin, gave Den a homeschooling on cooking basics. This has help him greatly when he enlisted on the Culinarians' guild later on in life.The Tattoo
As prank from his friend Umfrey Byrde when they were kids. Den has a "tattoo" on the right side of his head. Originally it was supposed to be something he could wash off, due to it being made with a piece of coal... But the coal had some special aetherical properties that made it last longer when on fire but also made it impossible to wash off.Present day Day

- He is a chef in the palace of Ul'dah, making her graces meals with a smile and a touch of love. He has a crush on her ever since he got the job there. Granted by her grace herself back in his days as a member of the Culinarians' Guild.The One-Eyed Genius
- Den demonstrated potential with technology by dismantling an old, abandoned Garlean warmachina. Cid himself saw that and gave Den a test. To transform parts of that warmachina into machines to help people on every day tasks. And so, using the parts of that warmachina, he manage to make a heater and a fan without any blueprints. Since that test, he has been working on a few jobs for Ironworks as both a Machinist and a Blacksmith.The Azul Menace
- After encountering a man showcasing a strange and rather unique set of spells. The man was offering soul crystals for this job called Blue Mage. Den took one of said crystals but couldn't shake the feeling that this man was a phoney con man.
Flashforward to today, Den is one of that man's best students and performs at the masked carnivale under the alias of "The Azul Menace".The Blue Flame
- Due to the insistence of some of his coworkers at both the Palace and Ironworks. Den decided to open his own restaurant on an small apartment in the goblet. Using the culinarian knowledge he gathered on his travels around the star. He prepared a menu and does his best to serve the best food he can with a smile. Always following the motto "No matter who you are. No one is leaving my place with an empty stomach"Immortal Flames
- It's very often that Den is asked to help out with various tasks for the Immortal Flames.
From cooking for starving recruits/soldiers to repairing equipment. he gets compensated for his efforts with either Gil or materials for his projects depending on what he chooses that time.
